Sans Souci Beach It's also called Kaimana Beach because of the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel behind it. However, locals still call it by its old name, San Souci Beach, which was the name of the old lodging house that stood here. It may not look much to you, but it's an extremely quiet beach. People with small children love it. The first telegraph cable from the mainland, laid in 1902, had its terminal here.
